James
Young Engineering was established in 1964 as a
machine shop servicing Central Scotland. Since
then the business has been expanded and now covers
the whole of the UK.
During 2001, the present owners Ken Smith and
Michael Wilson, embarked on a planned investment
program to modernise the company. To date nine
new CNC machines have been installed.
The latest CNC machinery combined with a highly
skilled workforce, of fourteen ensures that James
Young Engineering keeps abreast of customer needs
and maintains excellent working relationships
in a market place where short lead times and quality
products are essential.
The company has always specialised in machining
high quality plastic components for a variety
of industries.
Our skill in plastics machining has now been augmented
by a dedicated team machining metal components. |
